Adult world to someday grow up

Let’s say that you have a job, one that pays a rather handsome salary. And let’s also say that you decide to one day physically attack one of your customers. What happens? Simple- you get fired.
Unless you happen to work for the NBA. In which case you will get a suspension, but you can still come back and work once the suspension is over. (I’m not sure if you will be paid during your mandatory vacation. If you make that kind of money and are living paycheck-to-paycheck, your situation may be unfortunate, but I have little sympathy.) This course of action strikes me as exactly the kind of punishment children are given: no matter how long the time-out chair session lasts, there will always be a warm hug waiting on the other side. Much like how you will have a job waiting for you.
Is your behavior really that big of a surpise then, seeing how the punishments related to said behavior mirror those enforced on a seven year old? Maybe we shouldn’t be so surprised when you behave the same way an angered child would.
I think the summary on iFilm was dead on: ”...one of the stupidest fights ever witnessed in a sporting arena.” And while there really are no other kind, I agree completely.
